While so much emphasis has been put on the Olympics over the last few months, I think it's about time that we take a few days to spare a thought for what summers were really made for...BARBECUES!

Food Network will be playing host to the first-ever ‘On Fire' food festival at Covent Garden next weekend, focused on celebrating all things BBQ, where tons of celebrity chefs will be cooking up some spectacular sizzling snacks and grandiose grilled grub.

School of Wok will be taking part with head chef Jeremy Pang cooking up tasty Asian food treats our own stall and BBQ pit. So get ready for some scrumptious char siu pork, tantalising satay chicken skewers and much more!

There will be a barrage of other stalls specialising in different cuisines and demos by celebrity chefs Andy Bates, Jun Tanaka and Tristan Welch. For those with a sweet tooth, cake expert Lotte Duncan will also be doing her thing in a dedicated cupcake booth.
