PLANNING YOUR CLASS

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Yourself and your appetite for learning! You will not need to bring anything for the class, but please make sure you are wearing comfortable, non-slip, closed-toe shoes.

I AM BUYING THIS FOR SOMEONE ELSE, DO I NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR CONTACT DETAILS?

Yes, it is essential for us to have the details for the person who is attending the class.

I DON’T HAVE MUCH COOKING EXPERIENCE, IS THIS CLASS SUITABLE FOR ME?

Of course! Yes our classes are designed for everyone of all skill levels. If you’re just finding out what the inside of a kitchen looks like, or know your way around one blindfolded, we promise to make sure you are comfortable in our classes.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR TAKING THE CLASS?

If you are under 16 years old, you will need an adult, also having purchased a place, to accompany you on the course.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE THERE IN THE CLASS WITH HOW MANY TEACHERS?

Most hands on classes usually have between 8-12 students in class, with 1 Head Chef and 1 assistant Chef. Celebrity Chef classes may have a larger class, but with additional chefs and assistants to ensure everyone is well looked after.

CAN WE DRINK WHILE COOKING?

To make sure everyone leaves with all fingers and toes, we do not serve alcohol until all knife work has been finished.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

All aprons, ingredients and equipment necessary are included in your class. Please refer to your specific class to see what else is included, as our classes differ from each other.

HOW DO I PAY FOR A CLASS?

We accept all major credit cards online (including American Express), as well as PayPal. We can also facilitate card payments over the phone.

THE CLASS IS FULLY BOOKED IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO?

You can contact us and be put onto the waiting list in case anyone cancels. Once a class is fully booked however, we cannot add extra people, as by keeping our classes small, we are able to provide the best possible experience for everyone.

GIFT VOUCHERS

I HAVE A GIFT VOUCHER, HOW CAN I REDEEM IT?

The easiest way to redeem a voucher is to go online and find the class you want to book. Once you have selected your class, when you reach the Payment page in the check-out process, you will simply enter the gift voucher number into the box and the system will credit your basket with the voucher. Don’t hesitate to email or call us if you are having any difficulty.

EXTERNAL VOUCHERS

I HAVE A VOUCHER FROM RED LETTER DAYS, VIRGIN EXPERIENCES, OR ANOTHER SITE. HOW CAN I REDEEM IT?

Our vouchers are issued with a one year expiry date, so ample time to choose the class you want. However if you’ve missed your expiry date please email us and we will do our best to help you if it’s possible.
