Chinese New Year is the biggest event of the Chinese calendar and from the 31st of January, the first day in the Year of the Horse, we will be celebrating with unbridled abandon here at the School of Wok!

As the streets of Soho celebrate with floats and dragons, free acrobatic, dance, martial arts and magic performances, food stalls and firecrackers on Sunday 2nd February, we too will be keeping up with the festivities! We will be hosting special CNY themed classes such as CNY Scoff & Quaff class on Chinese New Year, 31st January, and CNY Flavours of China and Wine Tasting on Saturday 1st February.

We will then 'stirrup' some more CNY Specials with a Good Wealth & Long Life class on Wednesday 5th February, featuring noodles and wontons and of course the Lantern Special Festival classes on 15th February, where you can shop in Chinatown for your own authentic ingredients and then learn the ins-and-outs of the wok at the School.

And for the 'mane' event we will be hosting our first ever Supper Club, on Friday 7th February! Our chefs Jeremy, Nev and Stefan will be cooking up a unique six-course Chinese Banquet featuring their favourite signature dishes – Singapore Style Chilli Crab, Whole Steamed Fish with Tamarind, and a 5 spice dessert platter, amongst others. You can sit back, relax and enjoy an evening of non-stop food, paired with specially selected wines from A Grape Night In. There are very limited places left, so giddy up and go and book!
