Join 2019 Masterchef quarter finalist Yui Miles for a special 3 hour Thai cookery class to make a spicy Papaya Salad, succulent pork dumplings and a delicious Thai green curry.

Yui Miles comes from strong Thai-Chinese family where cooking and eating have always been a focal point of family life. From a young age, Yui found her passion for cooking from her family with traditional Thai recipes passed on from her Grandmother. Yui moved to the UK in 2001, where She began to learn to cook more Western food to then add her own Asian twist on classes recipes. In recent years, Yui has showcased her passion for authentic Asian cuisine on BBC’s MasterChef UK 2019 as a quarter finalist and Channel 4’s Beat the Chef.

  • You will learn the basics of cutting, slicing and chopping using a Chinese cleaver.

  • You’ll also be taught how to fill, fold and season Pork Dumplings correctly.

  • Our classes also teach you the key basics of Thai seasoning with herbs and spices and what seasoning to use to make delicious Thai dishes every time!

The menu for this class contains allergens such as nuts, shellfish, gluten and egg. We can cater towards those who have allergens by providing alternative recipes or ingredients. Please contact us at the time of booking to let us know. We also provide Halal alternatives where possible for classes.

How long is the class?

2 1/2 hours of cooking, with the last half hour reserved for enjoying your creations, alongside a well-deserved glass of wine

How many people are there in the class with how many teachers?

This class usually has between 8-12 students, with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef.

What is included?

  • All ingredients and equipment

  • A welcome drink

  • 1 glass of wine, served with your meal

  • The opportunity to sit down and enjoy your meal at the end of the class

All students must be at least 16 years old | If you are under 16 years old, you will need an adult, also having purchased a place, to accompany you on the course.
