Description

Born in Busan, South Korea, Da-Hae moved to England when she was three. Watching her mother in the kitchen inspired a love for Korean food and in 2012, she opened Busan BBQ with her husband – a street food truck selling modern Korean food at pop up restaurants and markets across London. In 2015, Octopus Publishing published her first cookbook ‘K-Food,’ (later republished in paperback as ‘Eat Korean,’) – a mixture of the traditional dishes she grew up with along with ways to use Korean ingredients in a more modern way.

Da-Hae has worked TV shows such as Gizzi Erskine’s Seoul Food and John Torode’s Korean Food Tour as well as appearing on the BBC’s One Show and The Travel Channel’s Footie Shorts promoting Korean food.

How is this class structured?

Get ready for an amazing 3-hour cooking experience that will unleash your inner chef! Our 3 hr classes are designed to give you a hands-on experience of 2 1/2 hours of cooking, followed by 30 minutes to enjoy your creations with a well-deserved glass of wine.

How many people are there in the class with how many teachers?

Our classes have up to 12 students with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef, providing an intimate and personalised experience.

What is included?

We provide all ingredients and equipment, a welcome drink, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and a light lunch. After the class, enjoy your meal with wine or beer, and take any leftovers home. Participants must be 16+ or accompanied by a participating adult.
