Here are some of the cooking skills you’ll learn at our 3 hour Sushi making class with Yuki.
- Master the Art of Sushi Rice: With guidance from our Yuki, learn the secrets to making perfect sushi rice from scratch, a crucial element for delicious sushi rolls.
- Creative Sushi Wrapping: Discover the art of wrapping sushi in various shapes and popular sizes.
- Essential Flavour Profiles: Gain an understanding of the basic flavour profiles needed to achieve consistently great sushi, and learn the general rules of flavour in Japanese cooking.
The class will be led by Yuki and an Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-14 students. All of our classes involve knife skills and our chefs can also answer other questions you may have around ingrendients or techniques. Each student has their own chopping board and prep space, but the cooking at the hob is done in pairs. We recommend you bring some tupperware for taking home any leftovers.
This class is suitable for all levels of experience, from seasoned chefs to total beginners. We are here to help you become more confident in your skills and learn new techniques to impress your family and friends.
