About Miyoung:
Miyoung Finch, a South Korean native who relocated to the UK at the age of 30, found herself longing for the authentic flavours of her homeland amidst the offerings of restaurants and supermarkets. Motivated by a desire to change this, she opened her kitchen to share the art of cooking genuine Korean cuisine, a passion she's cherished since childhood. During lockdown, Miyoung has expanded her culinary reach with an online Korean food business, crafting Kimchi and other dishes passed down from her mother and grandmother, who instilled in her a deep reverence for ingredients and their natural essence. By prioritising quality over quantity, Miyoung ensures that each dish exudes honesty and flavour, showcasing the purest essence of each ingredient. Through her cooking, she aims to share the healing properties of authentic Korean cuisine, inviting others to savour the nourishment for both body and soul that her family recipes provide.
