In this 5-hour full day Vietnamese cuisine cooking class, will guide you through the key techniques and skills necessary to create delicious and authentic dishes.
- Knife skills using a Chinese cleaver: You'll learn the proper technique for holding the knife and how to apply the right amount of pressure to achieve the desired cuts.
- Filling, folding, and seasoning Vietnamese Summer rolls: You'll learn how to prepare the delicate rice paper wrappers for summer rolls and how to fill them with fresh vegetables and seafood. You'll also learn how to make the dipping sauce, which is a crucial component of the dish
- Seasoning the perfect stock for Pho: Our Head Chef will teach you how to combine different herbs and spices to create a fragrant and flavorful stock. You'll learn about the importance of balancing flavours and how to adjust the seasoning to your liking.
- Basics of Vietnamese seasoning with herbs and spices: Vietnamese cuisine is known for its intricate blend of herbs and spices, and our cooking class will teach you the basics of how to use them. You'll learn about the most commonly used herbs and spices in Vietnamese cooking and how to balance the flavours to achieve a harmonious and delicious dishes.
By the end of our full-day Vietnamese cooking class, you'll have gained a wealth of knowledge and skills that you can apply to your own cooking. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned chef, we're confident that you'll leave feeling more confident in your ability to create delicious Vietnamese dishes at home.
The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students. All of our classes involve knife skills and our chefs can also answer other questions you may have around ingrendients or techniques. Each student has their own chopping board and prep space, but the cooking at the hob is done in pairs. We recommend you bring some tupperware for taking home any leftovers.
Our menu may contain allergens such as nuts, shellfish, gluten, and egg. If you have any allergies, please contact us in advance so we can provide alternative recipes and ingredients. We are also happy to accommodate vegetarians, so please don't hesitate to inquire about the menu.

Our classes have up to 12 students with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef, providing an intimate and personalised experience.
What is included?
We provide all the essentials - ingredients, equipment, a welcome drink, soft beverages, tea, coffee, and a delicious light lunch to keep you energised. You can savour your creation or take it home, accompanied by a glass of wine or beer for added enjoyment. Any leftovers are yours to keep. Please note the age requirement: participants must be at least 16 years old, while those under 16 must attend with an adult.
