During our hands-on and interactive 3-hour Vietnamese Cuisine Masterclass, you'll delve into a world of essential cooking techniques and skills, crafting mouthwatering dishes bursting with flavour.
- Knife skills: Develop proficiency in cutting, slicing, and chopping techniques using a Chinese cleaver, fundamental skills in Vietnamese cuisine.
- Wok cooking techniques: Acquire the skills to create delectable stir-fry dishes using a wok, unlocking the art of balancing heat and flavours.
- Make the popular crispy rice flour crepes (Bánh Xèo) from scratch, from creating the batter to achieving the perfect crispiness on the pan. Fill them with succulent pork belly and crab meat for a burst of flavour.
- Vietnamese seasoning: Discover the traditional herbs and spices used in Vietnamese cooking and gain the knowledge to season your dishes authentically.
The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students. All of our classes involve knife skills and our chefs can also answer other questions you may have around ingrendients or techniques. Each student has their own chopping board and prep space, but the cooking at the hob is done in pairs. We recommend you bring some tupperware for taking home any leftovers.
This class is suitable for all levels of experience, from seasoned chefs to total beginners. We are here to help you become more confident in your skills and learn new techniques to impress your family and friends.

How is this class structured?
Get ready for an amazing 3-hour cooking experience that will unleash your inner chef! Our 3 hr classes are designed to give you a hands-on experience of 2 1/2 hours of cooking, followed by 30 minutes to enjoy your creations with a well-deserved glass of wine.

Our classes have up to 12 students with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef, providing an intimate and personalised experience.
What is included?
At our cooking classes, we provide everything you need to create delicious Asian and Oriental dishes! When you book with us, you'll enjoy: You'll have everything you need, including all ingredients and equipment, to get started on your culinary journey. A refreshing welcome drink will be waiting for you upon arrival. Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided over the duration of the class. You'll also enjoy a delicious light lunch to keep you energised throughout the class. At the end of the class, you'll have the opportunity to sit down with your classmates and savour the meal you created. A glass of wine or a beer will be served with your meal, adding the perfect touch of sophistication to your experience. If you have any leftovers, you'll be able to take them home with you to enjoy later! Please note that all students must be at least 16 years old, and those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a place.
