Step into the world of Thai street food with our 3-hour cooking class where you will learn to make delicious and authentic dishes from scratch. During this class you will learn:
- Pestle and mortar: One of the most important skills you'll learn in our Thai Street Food cooking class is how to use a pestle and mortar to make authentic curry paste. In addition to making your own curry paste from scratch you'll learn how to prepare and cook your own curry paste from scratch using a variety of herbs and spices.
- Thai seasoning basics: You'll be introduced to the essential herbs and spices used in Thai cuisine, such as lemongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaves, and Thai basil. You’ll be taught how to properly use these ingredients to create a perfect balance of flavours in your dishes.
- Stir-fry technique: Stir-frying is an important cooking technique in Thai cuisine. You'll learn how to properly heat the wok and stir-fry your vegetables and meats to achieve a perfect balance of flavours and textures.
Our menu contains allergens such as nuts, shellfish, gluten, and egg. If you have any allergies, please contact us in advance so we can provide alternative recipes and ingredients. We are also happy to accommodate vegetarians, so please don't hesitate to inquire about the menu.
The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students. All of our classes involve knife skills and our chefs can also answer other questions you may have around ingrendients or techniques. Each student has their own chopping board and prep space, but the cooking at the hob is done in pairs. We recommend you bring some tupperware for taking home any leftovers.

- Steamed Jasmine Rice - This light and fluffy rice is steamed to perfection

How is this class structured?
Get ready for an amazing 3-hour cooking experience that will unleash your inner chef! Our 3 hr classes are designed to give you a hands-on experience of 2 1/2 hours of cooking, followed by 30 minutes to enjoy your creations with a well-deserved glass of wine.
How many people are there in the class with how many teachers?
Our classes have up to 12 students with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef, providing an intimate and personalised experience.
What is included?
We provide all ingredients and equipment, a welcome drink, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and a light lunch. After the class, enjoy your meal with wine or beer, and take any leftovers home. Our Thai cooking classes are the perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the world of Thai street food and learn how to make delicious, authentic dishes from scratch. Led by our expert Chefs, you'll be taken on a culinary journey to the vibrant streets of Thailand, where you'll learn the secrets behind some of the most popular and flavourful dishes.
During the 3-hour class, you'll learn a range of skills and techniques, from using a pestle and mortar to create the perfect Jungle Curry paste, to shaping and frying the perfect Thai fish cakes. You'll also learn how to cook vegetables perfectly and create a flavorful stir-fried morning glory dish.
