In this full day Thai cuisine cooking class, you will learn:
- Using a Chinese cleaver: Our expert chefs will teach you the basics of using a Chinese cleaver to cut, slice, and chop ingredients with precision and ease. You'll learn how to handle the cleaver safely and how to cut various ingredients into different shapes and sizes.
- Making curry paste from scratch: One of the highlights of our class is learning how to make curry paste from scratch using a pestle and mortar. You'll learn the techniques for combining fresh herbs, spices, and other ingredients to create a fragrant and authentic curry paste that can be used in a variety of Thai dishes.
- Thai seasoning with herbs and spices: You’ll learn the key basics of Thai seasoning with herbs and spices, so you can create delicious Thai dishes every time. You'll learn about the common herbs and spices used in Thai cooking, and how to balance flavours to achieve the perfect balance of salty, sweet, sour, and spicy.
- Cooking techniques: You'll learn a range of cooking techniques used in Thai cuisine, including stir-frying, grilling, and steaming.
By the end of the class, you'll have the skills and knowledge to recreate these delicious Thai dishes at home, impressing your friends and family with your newfound expertise.
The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students.

During this immersive six-hour course, you will be transported to Thailand and learn how to create some of the most popular and delicious Thai dishes, such as the fragrant Thai Green Curry, flavorful Pad Thai, delicate Coconut Rice, succulent Grilled Pork, and fresh and crisp Som Tam Salad.
