In this 3 hour Vegetarian Chinese cooking class, you will learn a variety of essential cooking techniques and skills while creating delicious dishes packed with flavour.
- Knife Skills: You'll learn the basics of using a Chinese cleaver to cut, slice, and chop vegetables, meat, and other ingredients like a pro.
- Wok cooking: Our Head Chef will guide you through the nuances of wok cooking, including how to heat and season your wok, and how to stir-fry ingredients to achieve that coveted wok hei (smoky flavour).
- You'll discover the key basics of Chinese seasoning, including the types of oils, sauces, and spices used in Chinese cuisine, and how to use them to enhance the flavours of your dishes.
By the end of this 3 hour cooking class, you'll gain hands-on experience preparing and cooking authentic Chinese dishes, such as Chive & Mushroom Dumplings, Vegetarian Ma Po Tofu, Garlic Fried Rice, Stir Fried Green Beans with Chilli Hoisin and learn how to present them beautifully for your guests.
The class will be led by a Head Chef and Assistant Chef, and class sizes typically range from 6-12 students.

In this 3 hour Vegetarian Chinese cooking class, we'll show you how to make authentic Chinese cuisine vegetarian style to spice up your everyday dishes.
We teach you all the basic flavour profiles to make great tasting Chinese dishes as well as showing you to wok cook, fold, fill and flavour delicious Jiaozi dumplings and how to use a Chinese cleaver.
In our Vegetarian Chinese class you will make perfectly folded chive and mushroom dumplings, vegetarian Mapo Tofu, moreish garlic Fried Rice and spicy stir-fried green beans!
