We are very excited to be part of Edible Experiences Southeast Asia Arts Feast, taking place in London from this weekend until the end of November. Edible Experiences have collated a number of South Eastern Asian cooking experiences, many of which take place at the School of Wok. Most prominent in the schedule is an evening with Luke Nguyen, celebrity chef and Vietnamese food ambassador, on 24th Oct, when he will be demonstrating recipes from his new book The Food of Vietnam. The School will also be running our regular South East Asian Street Food Class, Taste of Taste of Thailand, and Vietnamese cooking classes throughout the festival, as well as our Flavours of China classes, where our chefs lead you through Chinatown on a market tour and take you back to the School to cook your freshly bought ingredients.
The Arts Feast kicks off this weekend (Sat 5 Oct) at 5FootWay, a Southeast Asia street food market in the heart of Bankside. Thirsty visitors can sign up for an Asian wine flight by ever-quirky wine tasting popup company A Grape Night In and see which wines go best with their Asian street snacks. Here at the School of Wok we will be wielding our woks and frying our Asian flavours in support, we hope you can join us.
And remember, in Woktober, every 10th booking gets a free wok! See here for a list of our classes.
