Nev Leaning, the head chef of the School of Wok's new sister company Cookery Coach (www.cookerycoach.co.uk) has challenged our head chef Jeremy Pang to a head-to-head Christmas Cook-Off at St Faith's Christmas Fayre in Brentford on Tue 23rd November 2010 from 6pm-9pm.
Join us there and have a chance to win prizes from both companies worth over £100!
Mobile cookery schools, School of Wok and Cookery Coach will be going head to head in an interactive cooking competition this year at St Faith’s Christmas Fayre. With your help each cookery school will be cooking up a storm from their part of the world and the audience will be the judge on who produces the tastiest food.
School of Wok is London’s best mobile Chinese cookery school run by Head Chef Jeremy Pang. He is incredibly passionate about Chinese food and strives to share his knowledge and teach you all how to be comfortable cooking traditional Chinese dishes in your own home. Using only the best quality cuts of meat and fish fresh off the boat, his ambition is to steer people clear of take-away Chinese and show you how to cook it yourself.
Sister company, Cookery Coach was set up by Nev Leaning in 2010 and has chef tutors in Bath and London. Cookery Coach teaches a wide range of skills that cover an array of seasonal ingredients and key cooking techniques of western cuisine. Head Chef Nev prides himself on Great British produce and will be sure to lay out a list of beautifully presented locally influenced dishes on the day.
Both companies specialize in bringing cookery lessons to your doorstep and will be setting up their mini-mobile kitchens open for the audience to join in the fun from start to finish. Get your aprons on and taste-buds at the ready for a tantalizing culinary journey from East to West on Tuesday 23rd November 2010!
