With Easter right around the corner (hello, four-day weekend!!) it's easy to be reminded of the merchandised holiday wherever you go. You can't throw a stone without hitting a chocolate egg, gift basket or Easter-inspired recipe or cooking tip no matter what grocery store or shop you enter. All this egg talk has gotten us thinking about our own daily associations whilst preparing Chinese food at the school, and the history and traditions the egg has played in Chinese cuisine and history.
