Want to get that Friday feeling? Join the School of Wok Stir Fry-Days: hour-long lunchtime lessons that will get you out of the office, and teach you the simple techniques behind perfect, sizzling stir-fries.

Escape the office early with School of Wok’s newest series of lunchtimes lessons - the Stir Fry-Days! For just £15, you can end your week with a masterclass in high speed wok cooking: from the classic egg-fried rice, to the seemingly simple stir-fry, now demystified by our range of three-step Stir-Fry Kits.

Not to mention, there’s booze! Once you’ve sizzled your way to the perfect stir-fry, you’ll sit down to tuck into your Friday feast with a glass of wine or beer in hand, as well as a jam-packed goody-bag full of each flavour of School of Wok Stir-Fry Kit. So whether you fall for our Sweet & Sour, enjoy the zing of a Spicy Sichuan or salivate over a savoury Black Bean, we’ve got your weekend sorted.

Suitability

This class is perfect all levels of experience- come join us whether you consider yourself a seasoned chef or a total beginner- we’re here to help you become more confident in your skills!

  • Our Head Chef will show you how to stir-fry like a pro: with 4 different wok cooling techniques, including the ever popular wok-toss!

  • You will learn how to make classic Chinese egg-fried rice, working with high-speed wok-cooking

  • You will be taught some basic knife and preparation skills

The menu for this class contains gluten allergens, so unfortunately we will not be able to cater to customers gluten intolerance or those who are celiac. However, we will try our best to accommodate other dietary requirements, such as vegetarianism, by providing alternative recipes or ingredients. Please contact us at the time of booking to discuss your options!

How long is the class, and when will it be held?

The class is one hour long, running from 1-2pm. The hour includes cooking and teaching time, as well as some time reserved for you to enjoy your creations alongside an alcoholic or soft drink of your choice.

How many people are there in the class with how many teachers?

This class usually has between 6 - 12 students, with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef.

What is included?

  • All ingredients and equipment

  • One beer or glass of wine per person

  • Each person will be given three flavours of our Stir-Fry to take away (1x Sweet & Sour, 1x Black Bean, 1x Spicy Sichuan)
