Start your day with a tasting tour around London’s enigmatic Chinatown, discovering all that it has to offer. You’ll enjoy both breakfast and lunch from Chinatown's famous institutions, as well as a guided browse through specialist Oriental food shops and stalls, becoming familiar with a variety of new vegetables and ingredients. The last 3 hours of the day are dedicated to preparing, cooking and eating authentic Chinese dishes, back at the School of Wok kitchens.

Exploring London's unique Chinese culture and cuisine this exceptional class provides a wealth of information in a variety of areas. Participants benefit from a hand-held tasting tour of Chinatown, with the school's Chef Guide providing insight into the best local shops for specialist ingredients, delicious Chinese bakeries and dim sum cafes, not to mention a 3 hour hands on cooking class to top it all off! Classes are intimate, informative, and best of all fun!

How is this class structured?

The first 2 1/2 hours are spent discovering nearby Chinatown. You’ll have breakfast at Kowloon Bakery, visit a variety of specialist Chinese and Asian supermarkets, followed by a light dumpling lunch at Jen’s Café before returning to the School of Wok kitchens. The last 3 hours of class will be spent cooking and then enjoying the dishes you prepare.

How many people are there in the class with how many teachers?

This class usually has between 8-12 students, with 1 Head Chef and 1 Assistant Chef.
