  • Included below are just some of the many skills that you will acquire on this course:

  • Each day, you will be taught the key basics of that specific cuisine’s flavour profile: getting to grips with seasonings, spices and sauces that will make each delicious dish capture the quintessential flavours of its region.

  • You will learn the basics of cutting, slicing and chopping using a Chinese cleaver.

  • We will also show you how to make curry paste from scratch using a pestle and mortar to make truly authentic curry!

  • You’ll be taught how to fill, fold and season Vietnamese Summer rolls correctly.

  • Our Head Chef will show you how season the perfect stock for Pho

-You’ll learn how to make the perfect sushi rice from scratch with expert help from our chefs

-You’ll learn to wrap sushi in a variety of shapes and popular sizes

  • Our Head Chef will also introduce you to wok cooking in our specially equipped kitchen where you can awaken your inner wok-star skills!

-You’ll be taught several ways of wrapping and folding Jiaozi dumplings in true authentic style

-You’ll be shown the art of steaming with bamboo baskets in a wok.

How is this class structured?

The class will run for 5 consecutive days, Monday to Friday. Each day is 6 hours long, beginning at 11 and ending at 5 - during this time, you'll experience approximately 2.5 hours of hands-on cooking followed by a lunch break, then a further 2.5 hours of hands-on cooking. The class will culminate with everyone sitting down to enjoy what they've created, alongside a well deserved glass of wine.
